Happy Birthday Electronic Cigarette Spot

Wow, it's our birthday!!! One year ago today the Electronic Cigarette Spot was born and what a ride it's been! Happy Birthday to Us!!!

First off I want to thank all the great readers, particularly those of you who subscribe and have been such a great source of support, information and friendship over the last year. You are all very special to me. After all, what's a blog without readers?? The ECS wouldn't be here without all of you.

When I first started this I was not really sure where it would go. I just wanted to post some of my thoughts and provide some information to clear the smoke around ecigs. So much misinformation was floating around and I figured a blog would be a great way to not only corral all the info I collected, but to help others find good information too. In the beginning there were only a few sites like this and over the last year literally hundreds of websites have popped up but sadly most are just more smoke and mirrors.

I've always tried to be fair, honest and thoughtful in my posts and I hope that's come through. We do sell ecigs, yes, and as you know i'm a bit partial to the technology as a whole, but, unlike the rest, that's never been a big influence on my thoughts or what I report. I'll show the great stuff but I'll also show the bad stuff. Ultimately, this is not a sales site and to this day i've never posted one single review, fake comment or gushy "this is the best brand, get your free trial now" article. I'm pretty proud of that and have no plans to do that in the future. It's what seperates us from the multitude of fake review sites and that's not going to be changing, even if I could make a lot more money doing that.

So the big question lately has been: Where do we go from here?

Well, the same place we've always gone! While I've not had the time to keep up to date on every little thing these last few months, I can promise more great news, views, opinions, reviews and of course, a little humor thrown in. As always, my goal still is to clear the smoke surrounding electronic cigarettes! We might not be all about quantity, but I hope you've come to love the ECS because of the quality instead.
