an Electronic Hookah? the new Green Smoke E-Hookah

This weekend Green Smoke announced their new patented E-Hookah will start shipping Dec. 1st and they are taking preorders starting now for $299 while the final retail price will be $350.00.

The two hose E-Hookah doesn't come with any cartridges, those are extra, but they say it has a powerful "laptop quality" battery that "will ensure hours of enjoyment with each charge". And, of course, the Green Smoke E-Hookah is... you guessed it, green.

An Electronic Hookah Pipe?

At first I had to stop and say "wait, what?" an E-Hookah? I have to admit to not being much of a shisha fan myself, I just never really got into Hookah smoking although it's quite popular here where i live. For a while there it seemed a new Hookah bar was opening up every week.

Many people turned to Hookah lounges as a way to enjoy smoking socially after all the smoking bans went into effect and the popular belief seems to be Hookah smoking is less hazardous to you then cigarettes. I know a lot of people who will go to the local Indian cafe and enjoy a bit of shisha after their meal who would never think of smoking cigarettes. And the FDA still says fruity flavors are for kids!

But after I thought about it for a while, an E-Hooka makes sense. The cartridges already come in great flavors and Hookahs are a fun social activity. We have e-cigs, e-pipes, why not an E-Hookah?

The Green Smoke E-Hookah

I do have to admit it is attractive. Of course it's green, but what did we expect from GreenSmoke? LOL. The green hoses seem long enough and it resembles a real Hookah in every way. With the amount of vapor the GS cartridges produce, i'm sure the experience will be similar to what shisha smokers are accustomed to. Only time will tell if the E-Hookah becomes popular and it looks like we have to wait till December to start getting some reviews.
